I contributed an essay to the Sarai 09: Projections reader entitled, Taking Flight: Perspectives from the Depths of an Ideas Factory. The essay explores the life of an idea across an ad agency, a social movement and a war zone.
The Sarai Readers were published once a year by Sarai— the media arm of Delhi-based Centre for Study of Developing Societies (CSDS). Each issue was structured around a specific theme and invited writing by practitioners, academics, activists and artists from diverse fields. Sarai 09: Projections was the ninth and last edition of the series.
