I have been invited to participate in the pre-selection jury for the IPF’s Web Series Program (aka Scripted Short Form Digital Series) in March. The program provides equity financing for content creators of original Canadian drama series for the web or mobile platforms.

Last April, I secured a few monthly hours of boardroom space at the East Room in Toronto. This week I reviewed and revised my commitment as a semi-permanent address for gngha.media… to facilitate collaborative projects outside my home office.
This will also allow turn-key access to office space and boardrooms in similar creative/ entrepreneurial spaces across their global collective (San Francisco, New York, London, Paris, Mexico City, Antwerp, etc), to support future collaborations/ projects.
I had the privilege of serving as a juror for the Toronto Arthouse Film Festival this year (2017)… such a great experience.
I was invited by the Ontario Arts Council to serve as a juror on the Media Arts (Organizations) Project Grants (2016) panel and as an advisor on the Media Arts (Organizations) Multi-Year Funding (2016) panel.
I contributed an essay to the Sarai 09: Projections reader entitled, Taking Flight: Perspectives from the Depths of an Ideas Factory. The essay explores the life of an idea across an ad agency, a social movement and a war zone.
The Sarai Readers were published once a year by Sarai— the media arm of Delhi-based Centre for Study of Developing Societies (CSDS). Each issue was structured around a specific theme and invited writing by practitioners, academics, activists and artists from diverse fields. Sarai 09: Projections was the ninth and last edition of the series.
